St. Vrain Valley School District determines salary placement based on education and years of experience. All pertinent experience must be listed on the employment application in order to be counted. For education credit, official transcripts must be submitted for evaluation.
In accordance with the Agreement between the St. Vrain Valley Education Association and the St. Vrain Valley School District No. RE-1J the 2017-2018 Teacher Salary Schedule posted below is currently in effect and being implemented. Currently employed teachers and licensed employees shall be granted an experience step increment effective with the 2017-2018 contract year according to the Agreement language.
Teachers and licensed employees newly hired for the 2017-2018 school year will be placed on this salary schedule at the appropriate education level documented by official transcripts and granted initial experience step placement according to the language in Appendix A, Section 1 & Section 2 the Agreement (June, 2017 revision). For the 2017-2018 school year, teachers will receive one step for each year of prior qualified teaching experience, up to a maximum of six years and will be placed at a maximum of step 7.
Classified staff are placed on the Classified Salary Schedule based on the market price and salary range for the particular position applied for. Previous years of experience in a similar position and job related education/training are considered when formulating salary.
