The continued safety, well-being, and success of our students, teachers, staff, and community has always been our top priority as we navigate the complex and evolving coronavirus crisis. To this end, we are updating our reopening plan to begin the school year in a fully online-learning model for all students which will continue through the last week of September. All students in grades 1-12 will begin on August 18, kindergarten students will begin on August 20.

Con este fin, estamos actualizando nuestro plan de reapertura para comenzar este año escolar en un modelo de instrucción completamente en línea para estudiantes hasta finales de septiembre. St. Vrain Valley Schools determines salary placement based on education and years of experience. All pertinent experience must be listed on the employment application in order to be counted. For education credit, official transcripts must be submitted for evaluation.
In accordance with the Agreement between the St. Vrain Valley Education Association and the St. Vrain Valley Schools the 2020-2021 Teacher Salary Schedule posted below is currently in effect and being implemented. Currently employed teachers and licensed employees shall be granted an experience step increment effective with the 2020-2021 contract year according to the Agreement language.
Teachers and licensed employees newly hired for the 2020-2021 school year will be placed on this salary schedule at the appropriate education level documented by official transcripts and granted initial experience step placement according to the language in Appendix A, Section 1 & Section 2 the Agreement (June, 2019 revision). For the 2020-2021 school year, teachers will receive one step for each year of prior qualified teaching experience, up to a maximum of six years and will be placed at a maximum of step 7.
Classified staff are placed on the Classified Salary Schedule based on the market price and salary range for the particular position applied for. Previous years of experience in a similar position and job related education/training are considered when formulating salary.
